This summer, the XXVIII. Croatian Southern Adriatic Spearfishing Championship took place on the north side of the island Hvar (on the 18.07.2020). It was also a qualifying competition for the Croatian national championship in September.
25 competitors full of strength and love for the sea, participated and completed the Championship. Of course, our Pathos athlete Mr Petar Prkić did not miss the chance to take part.
During the 5-hour diving, the strong north – northwest wind caused lots of difficulties to the competitors. Their goal was to dive up to the depth of 32-36 m, in search of the gold catch.
At the end of the day, Mr Petar Prkić succeeded in making a great catch of 11 fish -10 kg in total weight. This was more than enough to beat the other strong competitors.
